woodypointoriginalNot your average blue pencil session, this consultation with Gail is a full one-on-one workshop. Use your blue pencil intensive to sample Gail's fiction mentorship or get feedback on a short story or chapter, your novel outline, a project proposal, pitch package or CW program application. Or ask those pressing questions about the business aspects of the publishing industry.

Gail's blue pencil sessions make a great gift!

How it works:

We'll set you up with your own private board on Gail's teaching forum. You'll submit 4,000 words of your project one week before your scheduled blue pencil session. That will allow Gail time to read and assess your submission. The day before your scheduled meet day, Gail will post her notes. Then, during your blue pencil session, you'll brainstorm with Gail on the forum over the course of a day and have the opportunity to ask your questions.

The blue pencil session works exactly like one session of a fiction mentorship. If you like what you see, you have the option of continuing your work with Gail through a four-month fiction mentorship or fiction intensive. Mentorships start up in January, May and September. Or we can simply keep your board open for a future blue pencil session. If you'd like that option, your board will stay active for four months.

As a bonus, you’ll become a member of Gail’s on-line writing community with access to on-going discussions about craft, promotion and the writing marketplace.

Cost:

One blue pencil session is $250 plus GST/HST (of your province).
