We will not be hosting the camp in 2019. However, stay tuned for future years. And check out Gail's fall retreat in the Shuswap that runs the first week in October.
The Providence Bay Writers' Camp is a unique retreat is a perfect getaway for both Manitoulin-Sudbury area writers and those who are visiting this magical place.
Bring your fiction, memoir or creative non-fiction project up to the next level in morning workshops with Gail Anderson-Dargatz and enjoy everything the island has to offer later in the day.
Aside from the workshop critique from Gail and the other writers, you'll also take part in a one-on-one brainstorming session with Gail. Count on an experience that will jump start your project and transform your writing life.
And that experience will continue long after the camp is over. You'll have access to the writers’ camp forum until the end of the year, where you can meet on-line and discuss writing with your friends from the camp. As a member of Gail's forum community, you also have continued access to the general salon area on Gail’s forum, where writers from across Canada, the US and around the world chat about craft, the writing life, publishing and promotion. Gail is there most week days to offer advice and links.

Cost for a week at the Providence Bay Writers' Day Camp:
We only have room for a handful of writers, so to hold your place, the full fee is due on registration. Sorry, we can't arrange for installments. After June 15, cancellations will not be accepted and your registration fee will not be refunded as manuscripts must be submitted and distributed at that point. So, please make sure you can commit to the camp dates before you register.
